MENDOCINO PURPS

Mendocino Purps is a true Cali classic. It first made headlines in 2007, after being crowned one of High Times Top Ten Strains of the Year, though its origins may date further back. Mendocino Purps' exact lineage is a complete mystery, as are its genetics, though most breeders agree that it's a fairly balanced hybrid with a slight indica dominance.

One of the reasons there is so little information about this strain is that Mendocino Purps was strictly available as a clone-only variety. However, some breeders now claim to have been able to stabilise Mendo Purps and offer it in seed form. Its bulky, heavy, and resinous flowers are extremely eye-catching, and its potent physical effects make Mendocino Purps popular among indica lovers.
